Bhubaneswar Zone Activities - GBM at Ranchi on 14.02.2026


Team Bhubaneswar, led by Saurav Sidhartha, organised a General Body Meeting-cum-session on “Work–Life Balance for Officers: A Must for the Sustainable Growth of Our Bank” on 14 February 2026 at Ranchi. A free health and eye check-up camp was also conducted, benefiting members and hotel staff and receiving wide appreciation.


The programme was attended and addressed by All India President R. K. Chatterjee, AGM & DRM Swapnil Srivastava, Retired AGM Anjani Mishra, Zonal Secretary Sidhartha Sourav, and Zonal President Avinash Singh.


In the inaugural address, the Zonal Secretary highlighted key initiatives undertaken by the AIBOBOA Bhubaneswar Zone. The Zonal President spoke about Ranchi Unit activities, including a recent picnic and active participation in the nationwide strike demanding 5-day banking.


Mr. Srivastava elaborated on the 3C’s—Commitment, Collaboration, and Co-existence—while stressing the importance of maintaining work–life balance and motivating officers towards sustainable bank growth.


Mr. Chatterjee spoke on industrial developments, including progress on 5-day banking, merger matters, and the stand of UBFU on PLI. He also highlighted staff-related issues and advised careful loan sanctioning with proper end-use and asset verification. He further emphasised work–life balance through family time, stress reduction, limited screen use, healthy diet, regular exercise, and strong social bonds.


The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Regional Secretary Ratnesh Mishra.
