Half yearly Zonal Structured meeting with the Management at Zonal Office Ludhiana took place on 22.07.2024. From Management side, the meeting was attended by Zonal Head- Shri Hardeep Singh, DGM CA- Shri Govind Prasad Verma, CM-HR- Mrs. Shweta Bakshi and Senior Manager HR- Ms. Augustine whereas the Association was represented by Zonal President-Shri R. K. Banga, Zonal Secretary- Shri Rohit Kapoor, Additional Ladies coordinator- Ms. Ritu Raj and Regional Secretaries from all three regions of Ludhiana zone.
A host of agenda items pertaining to the welfare of officers in Ludhiana Zone and constraints faced by officers in the growth of the Bank’s business were discussed in a positive, responsive and cordial atmosphere. Some of the agenda items discussed in the meeting were shortage of clerks and officers in our zone, non-availability of permanent daftari/peons in branches, providing officiating allowance to below branch head positions, IT related issues like non-availability of report server, issues related to generation of account statement, RMenu , connectivity etc., issues related to delay in sanction of leaves to officers including Sabbatical leave to lady officers, timely conclusion of pending disciplinary proceedings cases, red flagging to officers, issues related to GEMS, training related issues, checking behavioural abrasions and treating officers with dignity and respect at all times, multiple VC’s throughout the day, late sitting in administrative offices and few branches, revival of sports and cultural clubs/activities in the zone, timely action on requests transfers by HR functionaries, empanelment of more hospitals for health check-up at all centres , exploring tie up with good schools, consideration of creche facility for lady officers, expediting holiday home at Srinagar and increasing rooms in Amritsar holiday home and many other issues were put forward for threadbare discussion with the Management. Respected Zonal Head assured of providing full support to the concerns raised by the Association in the meeting and told us that he will instruct all the Regional Heads to resolve the issues at the earliest.
Zonal Head shared concern regarding improving the CASA position and focusing on increasing Agriculture portfolio of the Bank. 25000 crore business as on 30.09.2024- this is the dream figure for Ludhiana zone- for which the Zonal Head solicited support from the office bearers and members of AIBOBOA.
After the Zonal structured meeting, the officers of Zonal Office were addressed by the Zonal Secretary and latest developments on PLI, staff HL modifications, concerns on violation of social media policy, whistleblowing, taking care of mental and physical health and upgrading knowledge and skills through revamped Baroda Gurukul app- were some of the points covered during the talk.
