Training on Role of Defence Representative held at Delhi on 8th & 9th Nov 2025

A two-day Training ON THE ROLE OF DEFENCE REPRESENTATIVES  was organised by All India bank of Baroda Officers' Association at KK Nair Learning Centre New Delhi on 8th Nov & 9th Nov 2025 which was attended by officers from 15 different Zones in Bank of Baroda as well as officers from INBOC Affiliated units in Canara Bank and Nainital Bank.

The Training session was inaugurated by Sh. R.K Chatterjee, President and Sh. Prem Kumar Makker General Secretary of AIBOBOA & INBOC.

A panel of experienced professionals viz; Sh. R.K Chatterjee, D.B. Mukhopadhyaya and Sh. Anupam Kumar dwelled upon on the important topics like Concept of Staff Accountability & AESA, Disciplinary action & Steps in Departmental Inquiry, Role of DR, Dos and Don’ts for DR, Drafting of Reply, Version asked by IO, Explanatory Note, WSOD on receipt of Charge Sheet, Defence Brief on receipt of PO’s Brief and WSOD on receipt of IA’s findings and Defence against common allegations in credit related lapses and operational lapses.

Discussions were held on Live Cases with focus on submission of CSO against allegations and charges and also a Mock Inquiry Proceedings exercise was done highlighting the – Role Play by IA, PO, CSO and DR .

The primary objective of such workshops was to provide skills to officers to work as   Defense Representatives for supporting their colleagues during internal inquiries.
