The Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of All India Bank of Baroda Officers' Association held at Dr Ambedkar International Centre New Delhi on 14th & 15th Sep 2024 were made even more special by the presence of the old stalwarts of AIBOBOA and leaders from friendly unions, who joined the event to share their rich experiences and wisdom.
These veteran leaders viz: Sh. M. Balachandran, Former CMD, Bank of India, Sh. Neelam Damodaran, Former ED, Bank of India, Sh. MG Mhatre, Former Director, Bank of Baroda, Sh. V B Chavan, Former Director, Bank of Baroda, Sh. Balasubramanian, Former Director BOB and Sh Aurbindo Ghosh, former Zonal Secretary who had played pivotal roles in shaping the Association's legacy, reflected on the journey of AIBOBOA, recounting the challenges, triumphs, and the spirit of solidarity that has sustained the organization over the years. Their stories of perseverance, collective action, and dedication inspired the participants, offering valuable lessons for the future. Their involvement brought a sense of continuity and camaraderie, connecting the past with the present and reinforcing the enduring strength of the Association movement.
Our friendly union leaders, Shri Janak Rawal, General Secretary of the All India Bank of Baroda Employees’ Coordination Committee, and Shri Vinil Saxena, Former Director of Bank of Baroda and President of BOBEF, elevated the grandeur of the programme with their esteemed presence. Their insightful thoughts and reflections, shared with the participants, added immense value to the event. Their leadership, wisdom, and long-standing contributions to the union movement not only inspired but also enriched the celebrations, leaving a lasting impact on all those in attendance.
