AIBOBOA (All India Bank of Baroda Officers’ Association) had launched “ESCORT” scheme in the year 1995 and has been extending financial help to the bereaved families of officers who die in harness.
In this scheme, in case of unfortunate death in harness of any Officer (Scale I to Scale VIII), who is member of this scheme, his / her family will get a lumpsum amount of financial assistance (currently comes to little more than Rs. 10.00 Lac which is collected as a part of salary deductions from all the members @ Rs.50/- per death. Presently there are about 20500 officers who have volunteered to become its members.
Under the said Escort Scheme. today Team Chandigarh led by Mr. Rohit Kapoor, Zonal Secretary handed over DD for Rs.10,11,300 to Ms. Shikha Varshney wife of late Shri Ajeet Kumar, in Regional Office Ludhiana in the presence of RM and 40 officers of Regional Office Ludhiana. Mr. Ajeet Kumar was working as an Officer in LUDHIANA,MSME BRANCH and left for heavenly abode on 06.03.2022. AIBOBOA vows to give all out support to family of deceased officer.
