Bhubaneswar Zone Activities - GBM held on 02.08.2026 at Bhubaneswar

Team Bhubneswar led by Mr. Sidhartha Sourav Zonal Secretary, organised a General Body Meeting at Bhubaneswar, on 02.08.2026. in the presence of All India President, Shri R.K. Chatterjee and senior Executives of the Zone. More than 150 members participated in the programme from various centers of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, as well as from Sambalpur.

R.K. Chatterjee Dada in his address spoke on various important issues, including the progress of the 5 Days Banking movement, concerns regarding the new PLI scheme, force-selling and mis-selling, issues related to third-party products and the importance of maintaining work-life balance. He advised officers to spend quality time with their families instead of working on holidays. He also highlighted staff shortage issues and expressed concern over late sitting at administrative offices and some branches. He also spoke about various lapses observed in loan accounts and the importance of fraud prevention. He advised members to exercise greater caution while handling gold loan cases and expressed concern over reckless financing practices.

An open Question Hour session was also arranged, during which members interacted with Dada and shared their views, concerns, and issues. Members also had the opportunity to meet him personally and discuss their individual concerns.

Zonal President Avinash Kumar Singh delivered the Vote of Thanks and expressed gratitude to all the members and guests for attending the programme. He also conveyed his sincere thanks to Dada for taking the time to attend and address the General Body Meeting.
