Bhubaneswar Zone Activities - GBM at Ranchi

A General Body Meeting was held on 11.07.2026 at Ranchi, in the presence of All India President Mr. R.K. Chatterjee, Retired AGM Kailash Sir, Zonal President Avinash Kumar Singh, Zonal Secretary Sidhartha Sourav, Regional Secretary Ratnesh Kumar Mishra, and over 100 members.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting. In his address, Zonal Secretary Sidhartha Sourav highlighted membership growth and various organizational activities across the zone and regions. Zonal President Avinash Kumar Singh briefed members on recent regional initiatives and urged greater participation in association activities and the Escort Scheme.

Addressing the gathering, All India President Mr. R.K. Chatterjee discussed key issues including 5 Days Banking, the PLI scheme, staff shortage, work-life balance, transfer policies, recruitment of around 1,900 officers, operational challenges, and fraud prevention in gold loans. He emphasized employee well-being, healthy lifestyles, and the importance of spending quality time with family.

The programme also featured an eye check-up camp for officers and their families, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session. Regional Secretary Ratnesh Kumar Mishra delivered the vote of thanks, and dinner was arranged for all participants.
