Bhubaneswar Zone Activities - GBM at Bhubaneswar on 4th Dec 2025

Team Bhubaneswar led by Mr. Saurav Sidhartha Zonal Secretary & Mr. Avinash Kumar Singh, President, organized the General Body Meeting of our Association on 4th December, 2025 along with a special session on “Work-Life Balance for Officers – A Must for the Sustainable Growth of Our Bank” at Rotary Club, Bhubaneswar.


The meeting was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Former Director of the bank and All India President Shri R.K. Chatarjee dada, Respected General Manager & Zonal Head Mrs. Swapna Bandopadhaya madam, Shri Jagajibban Mohapatra, DGM & ZIAD In-Charge, Shri Satya Ranjan Mohapatra, DGM & RM, Bhubaneswar, Shri Pradeep Kumar Behera, Regional Head, Cuttack, Shri Debi Prasad Mohanty, Regional Head, Sambalpur, Shri Amit Kumar, Regional Head, Jamshedpur, Shri Rajeev Kumar Sinha, DRM, Bhubaneswar, Shri Swapnil Srivastava, DRM, Rourkela, Shri Rajesh Pashayat, AGM & Branch Head, Bhubaneswar Main Branch, Shri Sushil Kumar Behera, AGM, In-Charge, CFS Bhubaneswar, Shri Mukti Kanta Ratha, AGM, In-Charge, Credit, Zonal Office, Shri Goutam Pal, DRM, Cuttack.


Large number of officers including female officers and several newly recruited DROs, attended the meeting. Officers from far-off locations such as Nayagarh, Khordha, Barbil, Dhenkanal, Puri and other places also participated.


In her address, Mrs. Swapna Bandopadhaya madam , General Manager & Zonal Head, expressed her concern regarding the business growth of the Zone. She emphasized the importance of employee engagement and appreciated the large gathering as a reflection of strong officer participation.


In his address, All India President Shri R.K. Chatarjee dada spoke about the latest developments regarding five-day banking and agitation programme announced by UFBU. He also shared updates on recent discussions related to bank mergers and developments under the PLI scheme.


During the programme, Shri R.K. Chatarjee handed over the Escort Scheme cheque of ₹29,05,900/- to Smt. Sunita Tarai, wife of late Shri Satyananda Tarai, and appealed to all members to join the Escort Scheme.


The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Zonal President Avinash kumar Singh , who thanked all members & the newly recruited DROs, for their active participation and support.
